Last year's attempt at writing fiction and having the main character have the
same name as my online handle wasn't really met without repercussion, largely from
myself.

That is, until I decided to talk to someone on Jabber over it, and one of his replies were:
"What's in a name?"

Only much later I realized that no matter how much I tried to run away, I couldn't escape
from the past (as far as online handles go, anyway).

So, in short, if you already knew me before all that happened, then yes, feel free to call me
by that name or that other name, why would I care about it?

In real life, however, just stick to one and call it a day.
